BOB'S FAVORITE BAKED BEANS | |
4 slices bacon 1/2 c. chopped onion 2 (1 lb.) cans (4 c.) pork and beans with tomato sauce 2 tbsp. brown sugar 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp. mustard Molasses as desired for taste (about 2-3 tbsp.) Cook bacon until crisp; drain, reserving 2 tablespoons drippings. Crumble bacon. Cook onion in reserved drippings until tender but not brown; add with crumbled bacon to next 4 ingredients. Mix well. Stir in amount of molasses desired to taste, usually 2 or 3 tablespoons. Stir well. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for about 2 hours. Serves 6. |
