GRITS AND CHEESE PATTIES | |
1 c. grits 4 c. water 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese 2 eggs, slightly beaten 2 tbsp. chives 1/2 tsp. salt Dash pepper Slowly stir grits into boiling water and cook uncovered 3-5 minutes. Cool to room temperature. Stir in cheese, eggs, chives, salt and pepper. Dip hands into cold water - shape into patties. Heat shortening and fry until golden brown, turning once. |
