NEW ERA GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE | |
5 cans cut green beans (drained) 1 can, cream of celery soup (***Not cream of mushroom***) 8 ounces (half a tub) dairy sour cream 3/4 cup, thinly sliced celery 1 large can, Durkee's style, French fried onions/rings for topping Grease a cake sized glass casserole dish... or even better yet, an aluminum throw away sized cake pan... with a stick of butter. Combine green beans, soup, sour cream, fresh celery, and half of the French fried onion topping. Mix well in pan and top evenly with remaining onion topping. Bake at 350-375°F in a preheated oven for about 35 to 45 minutes. The fresh celery makes the dish taste fresh and slightly crunchy. Enjoy! Submitted by: Johnny Reason |
