Whole water chestnuts
Bacon strips
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 c. soy sauce

Wrap whole chestnuts with bacon strips. Secure with toothpicks. Marinate in brown sugar and soy sauce mixture for several hours. Broil until bacon done just before serving.
