BACON WRAPS 
1 (8 1/2 oz.) can whole water chestnuts, drained (scallops can be substituted)
8 slices bacon, cut in half
1/4 c. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. garlic salt

Wrap each water chestnut or scallop in half slice of bacon. Secure with toothpick. Combine remaining ingredients. Pour over bacon-wrapped water chestnuts or scallops. Refrigerate for several hours.

Place in shallow dish, cover with paper towel and microwave on High for 3 minutes. Turn dish and cook for 3 minutes more. Cook longer if you have doubled the recipe.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
