NELADEAN'S ICE CREAM DESSERT
WITH SAUCE
 
CRUST:

1 egg white
1/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 qt. vanilla cream, softened

Beat egg whites at high speed, gradually add sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time, beat until stiff peaks form, and sugar dissolves. Fold in chopped nuts. Spread mix on bottom and sides of buttered 9 inch pie plate. Bake 12 minutes at 400 degrees.

SAUCE:

3 tbsp. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. whipping cream
1 tsp. vanilla

Heat ingredients over low heat until sugar dissolves then add vanilla.
