BROCCOLI SAUCE FOR PASTA 
1 head fresh broccoli, chopped
1 clove garlic
1/2 tsp. dried basil or fresh leaves, chopped
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
Salt & pepper
1/4 c. olive oil
2 med. onions, sliced into rings
Butter
Fresh grated Parmesan cheese
1 lb. pkg. linguine

Heat oil in a heavy skillet. Add minced garlic and onions. Saute until onions are transparent. Add broccoli and seasonings. Cook into broccoli is tender. Top each serving of pasta with broccoli sauce and add butter, if desired. Sprinkle grated cheese on top. Serves 4-6.
