CHERRY STREUSEL COFFEE CAKE 
5 tbsp. butter
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 (1/4 oz.) pkg. dry yeast
1 c. flour
2 eggs
2/3 c. warm water
1 can (20 oz.) cherry pie filling
2 tbsp. sugar (optional)

In large mixing bowl combine 1 1/2 cups dry cake mix (reserve rest of cake mix for streusel). Add yeast, flour, eggs, water, and beat 2 minutes with mixer. Spread dough (it will be thick) in greased 9 x 13 inch pan.

In saucepan combine reserved cake mix with cool melted butter until crumbly. Set aside.

Spoon pie filling over cake, sprinkle sugar over pie filling and crumble streusel over top of cake. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool.

GLAZE:

2 c. 10X sugar
2 tbsp. corn syrup
2 tbsp. water

Mix and drizzle over cooled cake.
