PORK CHOP ONION BAKE 
6 pork chops
2 tbsp. Crisco
1 c. uncooked rice
1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
1 can sliced mushroom
2 tbsp. diced pimento
3 c. hot water

Brown chops in Crisco. Spread rice in bottom of 9x13 inch dish. Reserve 1 tablespoon soup mix. Sprinkle remainder over rice. Put pimento and mushrooms on rice. Place chops on top and sprinkle reserved soup mix over them. Add water. Cover tightly with foil and bake in oven at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
