EILEEN'S 24 HOUR COLE SLAW 
This is a great change from the same old, same old cole slaw. It also takes care of itself to leave you free to cook and serve other foods.

1 cabbage head
2 onions
salt, to taste
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1 cup vinegar
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. mustard seed

Chop cabbage and onion and toss together. Season to taste. Heat the oil, vinegar, sugar and seed and bring them to a boil. Pour over the cabbage and onion mixture. Chill 24 hours. Stir well and serve.
