OATMEAL PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES 
2 c. quick cooking oats
1 c. unsifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 c. creamy or chunky peanut butter
3/4 c. butter
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

In bowl sift together flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Add oatmeal. In large bowl with mixer at medium speed beat peanut butter and butter until smooth. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Add oat and flour mixture; beat well.

Chill dough. Shape into 1 inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with fork in a criss-cross pattern. Bake in 350 degree oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
