ALMOND CRUSTED TORTE 
1 2/3 c. plain flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. butter, melted
1/8 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. almond extract
2 eggs, beaten
No-stick vegetable spray
2 1/4 oz. sliced almonds

Stir together all ingredients except almonds. Pour into a 10-inch pie pan that has been sprayed with no-stick vegetable product. Sprinkle almonds over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until lightly browned. Serves 8.
