OVEN CARAMEL CORN 
24 c. air popped popcorn
2 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter
1/2 c. white corn syrup
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Spread popped corn in a large roasting pan or two flat broiler pans. Combine sugar, butter, syrup and salt. Boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in soda and vanilla. Pour immediately over corn. Stir and mix it to coat evenly 15 minutes. Cool and break apart. Nuts may be added if desired.
