OVEN BAKED CARAMEL CORN 
Large foil roaster a little over half full of popped corn. You can add nuts and peanuts, if desired.

Boil for 5 minutes: 1/2 c. light corn syrup 2 sticks butter 1/8 tsp. cream of tartar

Remove from heat, add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. Mix fast. Pour over popcorn; mix well. Bake at 200 degrees, stirring every 15 minutes for 1 hour.
