LENTIL SOUP 
4 1/2 oz. sorted uncooked lentils, rinsed
1 1/2 qt. water
1 c. diced carrots
1/2 c. diced celery
1/2 c. diced onion
1/2 c. diced zucchini
1/2 c. sliced green beans
4 packets instant beef broth & seasoning mix
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 tsp. pepper

In 4 quart saucepan combine lentils with water; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let simmer for 20 minutes. Add remaining ingredients to lentils and stir to combine; cover and let simmer, stirring occasionally, until lentils and vegetables are tender, about 30 minutes longer. Makes 6 servings.
