1 lb. sharp cheese (sharp cheddar), shredded
1 c. nuts, finely chopped
1 c. mayonnaise
1 sm. onion, finely grated
Dash cayenne
Black pepper to taste
Strawberry preserves

Combine all ingredients and mix well. Place in lightly greased 5 or 6 cup ring mold. Refrigerate several hours or overnight. Unmold. Fill crater with strawberry preserves. Serve with favorite crackers.
