MINCEMEAT 
1/2 lb. cooked ground meat
1/4 lb. chopped suet
1/2 c. boiling water or meat stock
4 c. seeded raisins
3 c. chopped apples
4 tbsp. candied grapefruit peel
1/4 c. jelly
1 orange, chopped, rind and juice
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. molasses
1/2 c. cider
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/2 tsp. salt

Mix all ingredients together and simmer for 1 hour or until thick as desired. Makes 3 pints or enough for 3 pies.
