PINEAPPLE ICE BOX CAKE 
1 lb. vanilla wafers, crushed
1 lb. box confectioners' sugar
1/2 lb. butter
4 eggs
3 c. crushed pineapple, drained
1 pt. whipping cream, whipped
1 c. chopped pecans

Line 8 x 12 inch pan with half the wafer crumbs. Cream the sugar and butter in a bowl and add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Spread over crumbs. Add the pineapple and spread whipped cream over pineapple. Sprinkle with pecans and top with remaining crumbs. Garnish with additional whipped cream and cherries.
