BANANA BREAD 
3 ripe bananas
2/3 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. light molasses
1 egg, unbeaten
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. baking powder and soda
1 c. chopped walnuts

Mash bananas until smooth; add egg and mix well. Beat in sugar, molasses and butter. Mix and sift flour; add it with powder, soda, salt and stir. Add walnuts. Bake in greased 9x5x3 loaf pan at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
