MEL TIL'S CHICKEN | |
3 lbs. cut up chicken 2 tsp. salt 4 cloves garlic, chopped 3 carrots, sliced 1/2 tsp. pepper 1 lg. onion, chopped 2 tbsp. parsley 1/2 c. vermouth 2 sticks sliced celery Grease 10"x13" pan. Place chicken in pan. Combine remaining ingredients, stir slightly and pour over chicken. Bake at 375 degrees for 90 minutes. One half hour before done put 1 cup rice and 2 cups chicken broth, 1 teaspoon salt in greased casserole, cover, bake 30 minutes. Remove chicken from pan and stir in 1/4 cup of sour cream to vegetables. Serve over rice with chicken on the side, sprinkle with paprika. |
