BETTER THAN ROBERT REDFORD 
1 box yellow cake mix
1 lg. can crushed pineapple
1 c. sugar
1 sm. box vanilla instant pudding
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
4 lg. bananas
1 lg. Cool Whip
1 sm. jar cherries, chopped
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 c. coconut

Mix cake according to directions on box. Bake in oblong pan. Bring to boil sugar and pineapple. When cake is done, remove from oven and pour pineapple mixture over cake pierced with holes. Cool. Mix pudding according to directions on package. Mix in mixer with cream cheese. Spread over cake. Cover with sliced bananas. Cover with Cool Whip. Sprinkle top with coconut, pecans, and cherries. Refrigerate.
