LAYERED VEGETABLE SALAD 
1/2 head lettuce, shredded
2 c. (16 oz.) green peas, drained (tiny size)
5 ribs celery, chopped
2 sm. onions, cut into rings
1 pt. mayonnaise
2 tsp. sugar
6 tsp. grated Parmesan cheese, to taste

Arrange all ingredients in order as listed in a 3 quart rectangle casserole dish. Generously sprinkle with cheese. Store in refrigerator overnight. Hellmann's mayonnaise does better!
