APPLE CINNAMON ROLLS 
2 c. sugar
2 c. water
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. butter

Mix first four ingredients in pan and bring to a boil. Boil exactly five minutes. Remove from heat and add butter and let cool.

DOUGH:

3/4 c. Crisco
1/2 c. milk
2 c. flour

Mix dough and roll out 1/4" in a rectangular shape. Cover with 3 large or 5 small grated apples. Mix 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Make into a roll and cut into 1" slices, place in oblong pan and pour syrup over the rolls. Bake at 350 degrees until brown.
