| AUNT LANA'S EASY COOKIE | |

1 c. shortening or butter 1 c. sugar 2 eggs 2 1/2 c. flour 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. vanilla Cream shortening, mix all other ingredients and mix until smooth. Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet, lightly greased and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or just until lightly browned. | |

I made these using the shortening instead of butter. I think they would be a lot better if I had used margarine/butter. There just seemed to be something a little off about them, but they weren't too bad.
