SOUR CREAM RAISIN BARS 
FOR CRUST:

3/4 c. oatmeal
1 3/4 c. flour
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. baking soda

FOR FILLING:

2 c. raisins
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. salt
4 egg yolks
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 1/2 c. white sugar
1 c. sour cream
1 c. half & half

Mix oatmeal, flour, brown sugar, soda and butter like pie crust. Put 2/3 in bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan. Reserve 1/3 for top of bars. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

FILLING: Boil raisins, water and salt for 5 minutes. Cook remaining ingredients until thick. Add raisin mixture, put on baked crust. Top with remaining crumb mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. They freeze well.
