CHICK PEA SALAD 
2 (1 lb. 4 oz.) cans chick peas, drained
2 cloves garlic, diced
1 onion, diced
2/3 c. oil
1 c. wine vinegar
1 green pepper, diced
2 tomatoes, diced
2 carrots, shredded
1 zucchini, shredded
Italian dressing (optional)
Salt & pepper to taste

Bring chick peas, garlic, onion, oil and vinegar to a boil, then chill. Toss in rest of ingredients. Amounts may vary. Serves approximately 12 at 169 calories each serving.
