MEXICAN SLAW | |
1 tall can tomato soup 1 c. prepared mustard 1/2 tsp. black pepper 1/2 tsp. red pepper 2 tbsp. shortening 2 tbsp. sugar 2 tbsp. vinegar Salt to taste Mix well and let come to a boil. Add 2 cups chopped onion and 4 cups chopped cabbage. Let this cook 5 to 8 minutes. Stir continuously. Do not cook too long. Be sure it has boiled after adding all ingredients. Cool and store in container. |
