3/4 c. butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 sqs. unsweetened chocolate, melted
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. milk
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
Granulated sugar

Cream butter; blend in brown sugar, chocolate, egg and vanilla. Beat well. Stir in milk. Sift together flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Then add slowly to creamed mixture. Chill. Form small balls and roll into granulated sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
