BUTTER BRICKLE SURPRISE 
1 lb. box saltine crackers
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter
3 oz. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts (any kind)

Line cookie sheet with tin foil Place single layer of crackers, salt side up, on foil. On top of stove in saucepan, melt butter and sugar. Boil 3 minutes, until thick and gooey. Pour over crackers. Place sheet in over for 3 minutes at 400 degrees (no longer). Remove from oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts. Cool, then break into pieces.
