ZUCCHINI CASSEROLE 
3 layers sliced zucchini, thin
1 layer onion slices
1 layer croutons (preferably cheese)
1 layer sliced American cheese
1 layer sliced green pepper
1 layer sliced ripe tomatoes
2-3 dabs butter
Dash of salt and pepper

Grease casserole well with butter. Repeat layers as above and top with 4 oz. can mushrooms, drained. Bake covered at 350 degrees for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. If casserole is very full, bake 1/2 hour and then add drained mushrooms.
