CHOCOLATE COVERED CHERRY CANDY 
1 can sweetened condensed milk
4 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. vanilla
2 lb. powdered sugar
1 - 2 c. chopped pecans
1/4 c. block paraffin
8 oz. semi - sweet or milk chocolate
2 jars maraschino cherries with stems

Drain cherries. Mix milk, butter and vanilla. Add sugar, a small amount at a time, blending well until all sugar is used! Add nuts (you may need to work this in with your hands). Pinch off enough dough to make a small ball around one cherry. Continue until mixture is used. Place on waxed paper. Chill 1 hour. In double boiler melt chocolate and paraffin. Dip each piece of candy in the chocolate mixture until covered. Place on waxed paper to set. Chill if needed. Do not have chocolate mixture too hot. Keeps well.
