COFFEE CAKE 
1 c. boiling water
1 stick butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
1 pkg. yeast
1/4 c. warm water
1 egg, beaten

Dissolve the yeast in the warm water and let sit.

Put the butter in a bowl, pour the boiling water over it, stir and let butter melt. Add a small amount of powdered milk to this. After the hot butter cools to warm; stir in the yeast mixture. Then mix all together and work in approximately 3 cups flour. Let rise until double (1 hour). Then stir in 3/4 cup sugar. Pour in greased coffee cake pan, let rise until double (1 hour) and top with streusel. Bake in 375 degree oven for about 15 minutes.
