1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet morsels
1 c. water
2 1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. heavy cream
Dash of salt
2 tbsp. brandy or 1 tbsp. instant coffee (optional)

In double boiler melt chocolate and add water. Mix until smooth. In a large saucepan mix milk, cream and salt. Bring just to a boil. Add chocolate to milk mixture. Stir until heated through. Add brandy or coffee. Makes 6 servings.
