COMPANY BEEF CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
2 tbsp. parsley
2 tbsp. shortening
5 oz. elbow macaroni
1 med. onion
Salt and pepper
2 c. canned tomatoes
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 tbsp. catsup
1 tsp. steak sauce
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1 c. grated cheese

Brown ground beef. Add onion, tomatoes, sauce, green pepper, and parsley. Cook macaroni according to directions on package. Combine macaroni and meat mixture in a baking dish. Season to taste, spoon over top. Sprinkle cheese on top of soup. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

I found this recipe in a church cookbook. Same exact ingredients but instructions were not clear about what to do with the cream of mushroom soup and the instructions for this one are no better.

I had a similar recipe years ago and you folded in the cream of mushroom soup then put in casserole dish and put cheddar cheese on top, then baked.
