ORIENTAL BEEF CASSEROLE 
1 tsp. cooking oil
1 lb. ground beef
1 sm. green pepper (optional)
2 c. celery, sliced thin
3 green onions, sliced
10 oz. can mushrooms, drained and sliced
1/4 c. light cream or milk
1 can cream of celery soup
1 tbsp. soya sauce
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. fine bread crumbs
1/2 c. slivered almonds
2 tbsp. melted butter

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Brown beef in oil in heavy skillet. Place in well buttered 1 1/2 quart casserole. Sprinkle over chopped green pepper, celery, onion and mushrooms. Combine soup, soya sauce and pepper and pour over. Combine crumbs, butter and almonds and sprinkle over all. Bake 35-40 minutes until bubbly. Vegetables should still be crisp. Serve with rice.
