"BEBO'S" HOMEMADE FLOUR
TORTILLAS
 
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 cup Crisco shortening
1/2 cup water

Mix all dry ingredients. Add water to ingredients, gradually while kneading. Work dough until smooth. Form dough into 2-inch balls and let stand for 5 minutes. Roll out each dough ball with rolling pin to desired round shape. Cook on hot griddle on each side until lightly brown, turning frequently (approximately 20 seconds each side).

Makes approximately 20 tortillas.
