FRIED APPLE PIES 
PASTRY:

3 c. flour
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. s. milk

Cut in Crisco, as making biscuit dough. Roll out and cut as you would biscuits. Roll out thin in round shape.

Stew apples until done. Drain through colander until cool. Sweeten to your taste.

Spread on crust. Close with fork pressed around. Fry in Crisco on medium to low heat until crust is done.
