PEANUT BUTTER BALLS | |
1 1/2 c. (18 oz. jar) crunchy peanut butter 2 cubes soft butter 1 box plus 1 c. powdered sugar 1 (8 oz.) Hershey bar 1/2 stick paraffin wax Mix peanut butter, butter and powdered sugar (I use my hands). Roll into 1 inch balls, place on cookie sheet and chill, at least 30 minutes or freeze, to finish later. Melt chocolate and paraffin in top of double boiler. Using a wooden skewer or small knitting needle to hold balls, dip them, 1 at a time, in chocolate. Place on wax paper lined cookie sheet. Chill or freeze. Makes 6 to 7 dozen. |
