PEPPER STEAK MICROWAVE STIR-FRY
Microwave stir-fries taste like wok-fried, but you stir only 4 or 5 times, not constantly.

MARINADE:

1/4 c. soy sauce
1 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 tsp. ground ginger
1/8 tsp. garlic powder

STIR FRY:

1 lb. beef flank or sirloin steak cut in 1/8 to 1/4 inch strips, 1 1/2 to 2 inches long
1 lg. green pepper, cut in 1/4 inch strips
1 sm. onion, sliced and separated into rings

Combine marinade in order given and stir in meat to coat well. Marinate at room temperature 20-30 minutes. Preheat 10-inch browning skillet 5 1/2 minutes on HIGH. Add meat and marinade quickly until sizzling slows.

Add remaining ingredients; stir well. Microwave at HIGH 5 1/2 to 8 minutes or until vegetables are tender-crisp and meat is done, stirring 2 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
