STIR-FRY PEPPER STEAK | |
1 tbsp. cornstarch 1/2 c. soy sauce 1/4 c. sherry 1/4 c. water 2 cloves garlic, crushed 1 1/2 lbs. round steak or flank steak 3 tbsp. Planters peanut oil 4 lg. green peppers, cut into 1 inch pieces 3 large tomatoes, cut in wedges Combine cornstarch, soy sauce, sherry and garlic; blend. Cut steak into thin crosswise slices. Add to soy sauce mixture and marinate one hour. Heat peanut oil in Wok over a high heat. Add peppers and stir fry until almost tender, about 4 minutes. Stir in beef mixture and salt. Cook until beef is brown, stirring frequently. Add tomatoes and continue cooking just until tender. |
