JAM OR JELLY 
This is the old fashioned way of making jelly or jam. If you make jelly you need to strain the juice from the fruit. If you make jam either grind or mash the fruit depending on the kind.

4 c. prepared fruit, strawberry, grape, blackberry, plum, peach, whatever kind you have
5 c. sugar

Prepare fruit by cooking 5 to 10 minutes depending on kind. Measure 4 cups prepared fruit and add the 5 cups sugar. Cook and stir constantly until it reaches a boil you cannot stir down. Cook 12 minutes. Seal in sterilized jars.
