LADY ELKS GREEN BEANS WITH HERB
BUTTER
 
1 lb. green beans (I use fresh but can use frozen)
1/4 c. butter
3/4 c. minced onions
1 clove of garlic, minced
1/4 c. minced celery
2 tbsp. sesame seed
1/4 tsp. rosemary
1/4 tsp. basil, diced
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. chopped parsley

Cut beans crosswise into thin slices. Cook beans, covered, in 1/2 inch boiling salted water for 15 minutes or until tender, drain. Melt butter in saucepan, add onions, garlic, celery and sesame seed. Saute for 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer covered for 10 minutes. Toss beans with sauce.
