EASY SLICED BAKED POTATOES 
4 nice even potatoes
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. butter
3 tbsp. parsley, chives, thyme, sage or choice
4 tbsp. cheddar cheese
1 1/2 tbsp. parmesan cheese

Scrub potatoes clean. Cut in thin slices, not all the way down. Place in baking dish and sprinkle salt on. Coat with butter and herbs. Bake at 425 degrees for 50 minutes. Remove from oven; put cheeses on and replace in oven for about 10 minutes until slightly brown. Serve with any main dish of meat, poultry or fish.
