FRY PAN BALLS 
1 stick butter
1 c. dark brown sugar
1/2 lb. dates, chopped
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg, beaten
2 1/2 c. Rice Krispies
1/2 c. nuts
Coconut

Melt butter, sugar, dates, vanilla and salt in fry pan. When melted. Add well beaten egg and cook over low heat stirring often. Remove from heat and add Krispies and nuts. When cool enough to handle, roll in balls. Then coconut. Yield 3-4 dozen.
