PORK CHOPS CACCIATORA 
6 pork chops, about 3/4 inch thick
1/2 tsp. salt
6 thin onion slices
1 env. spaghetti sauce mix
1 (1 lb.) can (2 c.) tomatoes
1 tbsp. brown sugar
6 green pepper rings

Trim fat from meat and brown the pork chops, season with salt and pepper. Place in 11 1/2 x 7 1/2 x 1 1/2 inch baking dish. Top each chop with onion slice.

Combine next 3 ingredients, pour over chops. Cover with foil, bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) for 1 hour.

Uncover, top chops with green pepper rings, bake 15 minutes. Serve with hot cooked rice. 6 servings.
