STRAWBERRIES SUPREME 
2 qts. strawberries, washed & sliced
4 oz. cointreau or kirsch
4 oz. white rum
1 pt. softened vanilla ice cream
1 c. whipping cream, whipped

Sugar washed and sliced strawberries, if desired. Pour rum and cointreau over the berries and toss gently. Let stand overnight. Drain. Soften ice cream. Whip cream and fold into ice cream. Fold berries into cream. Serve at once. Serves 6 to 8.
