DOLE GOLDEN LAYER CAKE | |
1 (20 oz.) can Dole crushed pineapple in juice 1 (8 oz.) carton frozen whipped topping, thawed 1 (16 oz.) instant vanilla pudding mix 1 1/2 (16 oz.) frozen pound cake, thawed, or yellow cake mix Combine undrained pineapple, whipped topping and pudding mix. Let stand 5 minutes. Spread 1/3 pudding mix over bottom layer of cake (if you are preparing a layer cake). Top with the second layer of cake, then the pudding mix, etc. May also be prepared in a 9x13 pan and cut into squares. Chill 30 minutes. If you wish, top with toasted almonds sliced and garnish with pineapple slices. |
