KING LOUIE'S FRUIT SALAD | |
1 (8 oz.) can grapefruit sections 1 (8 oz.) can pineapple chunks 2 bananas, chunks 1/4 c. orange juice 1 tsp. lemon juice 4 lettuce leaves 4 maraschino cherries (if you like) 1. Open the cans of grapefruit and pineapples. Drain them into a strainer held over the sink. Put the fruit in a small mixing bowl. 2. Peel the bananas, cut, put in mixing bowl. 3. Pour in the orange and lemon juice. Stir gently. Cover and refrigerate, chill for 1 hour. 4. Place 1 lettuce leaf on each of 4 salad plates. With a slotted spoon, divide the fruit among plates. Top each salad with a cherry. |
