CHUCK WAGON STEW | |
1 lb. lean ground beef 2 unpared med. potatoes, cut into 1/2" pieces 1/4 c. instant minced onion 1 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tsp. instant beef bouillon 1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes 1 (8 oz.) can cut green beans Cook and stir ground beef in skillet over hot coals or on a camp stove until light brown; drain. Stir in potatoes, onion, salt and bouillon. Add liquid from tomatoes and beans to skillet. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer 15 minutes. Stir in tomatoes and beans. Break up tomatoes with fork. Cover and simmer until potatoes are done, about 5 minutes. 4 servings. |
