ASPARAGUS LOAF 
4 tbsp. melted butter
1 c. crumbled saltine crackers
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 c. hot milk
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
2 tsp. grated onion
2 pkgs. frozen asparagus cuts, cooked & drained

Line in a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan with strip of aluminum foil; butter well. Saute crackers in butter until golden. Combine eggs, milk, salt, pepper and onion; mix well. Add cooked asparagus and sauteed crackers. Pour into prepared pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minute. Serve with hot cheese sauce.

To check doneness insert a knife 1 inch from edge of pan and the knife should come out clean.
